Tribute to my mom, Anita B. Harris, for Mother’s Day: she loved a good tube top. Went decades without wearing her beloved hoops because baby me pulled one and tore her ear, had natural hair long before it was the thing to do, and cherished wooden jewelry like it was pure gold

I’m hearing it’s National Sons Day and seeing lots of posts of sons. I’ve sneaked my son into a lot of my art over the years: here are some examples.

Today is World MS Day. MS changed my life in ways that were unimaginable to me before. I had to stop working as an engineer. I went back to my first love, art, but was too fatigued to hold a paintbrush. So I turned to digital art. This is one of my first designs. I now love sharing my art around the world. The numbness, fatigue, mobility issues — not fun. Discovering my self worth beyond labels and accomplishments — ok, also not fun, but invaluable.❤️
