On this 82nd anniversary of D-Day, we honor the brave Americans and Allied forces who landed on the beaches of Normandy and helped secure victory in World War II. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to freedom changed the course of history.

Earlier this year, Virginia’s farmers experienced severe freeze events that resulted in millions of dollars in crop losses and placed a significant strain on farm families and rural communities. I was proud to lead a letter in support of Virginia’s request for disaster designation so that producers can access the resources and relief they need to recover. Read it here:

Virginia has played a defining role in our nation’s history, and now we have the opportunity to help tell its story for generations to come. I encourage Virginians to submit photographs that capture the beauty, character, and spirit of the Commonwealth for consideration in the Congressional Time Capsule as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
