Congratulations to the High Point Housing Authority, including a big shoutout to Executive Director Ms. Angela Jimenez and the incredible FSS Team of Jazmine Henderson, Debra Majette, and Shakira Thomas-Warthen for securing a $238,971 Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) Grant!

This funding will empower families in High Point to achieve greater financial independence by providing essential resources and support, such as career development, financial literacy, and goal setting. The FSS program continues to create lasting opportunities for residents, building a brighter future for the entire community.

Congratulations to South San Francisco Housing Authority Executive Director Leah Taylor and the entire South San Francisco Housing Authority team for being awarded two significant grants from HUD!
They were awarded a Housing Related Hazards Capital Grant for $3,030,240, and a Lead-Based Paint Capital Grant for $388,000.

This funding will modernize public housing by removing outdated fuel-burning devices and converting units to fully electric, improving safety and environmental sustainability for residents, as well as enable crucial testing and abatement of any lead-based paint from the original construction, ensuring healthier homes for families.

These transformative projects showcase a commitment to creating safer, healthier, and more sustainable housing for the community.
