The future of STEM education is bright! We spent a day last week in Eldorado, IL schools teaching students about solar energy. Along with our partners from SOLV Energy, we led hands-on activities, answered questions about careers in clean energy, and showed students how science and technology connect to the solar projects in their community. Their curiosity and excitement remind us why investing in STEM education today powers the innovators of tomorrow!

Sol Systems is proud to support STEM education and inspire the next generation of clean energy leaders through opportunities like this!

Another highlight for a Summer Fun we’re offering!

Come explore robotics, electricity, and solar energy with us! Youth will visit a local solar site, learn about Sol Systems (solar energy), Rivian (electric vehicles), and more! Come ready to learn through hands-on activities. Lunch and snacks are provided.

📆When: June 9th – 11th * THREE DAYS
🕐Time: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
🧒🏻Ages: 9-13
📍Location: Stokes County Cooperative Extension (700 N Main Street Danbury, NC 27016).

We are excited for this one! Sol Systems sponsors the 4-H Robotics program in Stokes County. They will be visiting this camp to share their expertise. Stokes County 4-H is grateful for their contribution and partnership!

Sol Systems has reached financial close and started construction on the transformative Tilden Solar Project, a $345M, 182 MW solar farm sited atop a historic Illinois mine.

We’re repurposing a 1,050-acre historic mine site into a renewable energy asset, bringing sustainable benefits to the community and environment and powering the equivalent of 33,800 Illinois homes annually.
