We are very excited to host two prominent Fridays for the Future leaders at the event - Helena Marschall, who directed the 2023 short film "Another World Is Possible", and Luisa Neubauer, who was the named plaintiff in the successful 2020 suit "Neubauer vs Germany," which resulted in the German government adopting more ambitious and far-reaching decarbonization targets.

We will also showcase youth advocacy here at home with a series of short films made by local C3 teen interns from the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County over the summer.

Featuring opening remarks from Albemarle County Board's newest Supervisor Mike Pruitt, a panel discussion with our guests and local youth, and opportunities for an audience Q&A, this event will underscore the importance and impact of climate advocacy for decision-making at every level.
