Abby Ahmad is a singer, songwriter, actor, and multi-disciplinary educator based in Brooklyn, NY. She has recorded & toured internationally, both as a solo artist and with her band Fife & Drom. Her original music has been recognized by the Independent Music Awards and featured in the film The Guardian. As an actor & voice actor, Abby has performed for stage, film & commercial. A 2025 Bechdel Project Community Space Grantee for her original musical, Permanent Residence, Ahmad has performed regionally and Off-Broadway, earning acclaim for her performance in Heather Raffo’s 9 Parts of Desire. Recent creative collaborations include The Cost of Believing (Sheen Center), The Gaza Monologues (Theatre of the Oppressed), and The Battle of Blythe Road (On the Quays/Prospect Musicals). As a working performer and voice/songwriting coach, Abby cherishes the opportunity to commune through creativity.
