Chief of Defence Forces and COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that Pakistan’s armed forces are undergoing a major transformation across multiple domains to meet future warfare challenges. Addressing troops during the high-intensity Steadfast Resolve exercise at Khairpur Tamewali, he noted that rapid technological advancements are reshaping the character of war.

He emphasised that future operations will rely more on technological manoeuvres than physical ones, prompting the armed forces to rapidly adopt modern systems, innovation and indigenisation. Field Marshal Munir praised the troops’ morale and preparedness, reaffirming the military’s readiness to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty.

The exercise featured drones, advanced surveillance, electronic warfare and modern command-and-control systems, reflecting a shift toward technology-enabled, multi-domain operations.
