DC Project Action

We invite you to join us this Saturday, December 9th from 10:00am - 12:00Noon for our first in-person DC Project Action meeting in over three years.

The meeting will be held at First Trinity Lutheran Church at 309 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. Free parking across the street, accessible and refreshments will be served.

Project ACTION! would like to honor the life of Judy Heumann. She was a fierce advocate. When she was appointed as the first Director of the Department on Disability Services, she invited Project ACTION! members to meet with her at her apartment because she wanted to hear from us first about what our experiences were, what was working for us and what wasn’t. She talked and listened to us for more than four hours. We thank her for listening, advocating and paving the way for us all!
