One in five victims of human trafficking are children exploited for child labor, po*******hy, and begging.

There are numerous circumstances that contribute to youth involvement. Emotional or financial distress, familial exploitation, homelessness, manipulative third parties, and more can be found at the root of these statistics and of many children's experiences.

Human trafficking is happening here. The United States ranks as one of the worst countries in the world for it, with an estimated 199,900 occurrences annually.

Since 2020, MiCreate has supported survivors pursuing recovery, independence, and entrepreneurship through their creative talents. Now, in addition to survivor protection, we're adding a focus: prevention.
