Florida Rising Together is testing a relational fundraising strategy designed to transform one-time donors into long-term champions for justice. Through structured outreach, storytelling, and intentional engagement, they are building a sustainable base of recurring donors to power organizing across Florida.

This experiment is helping to demonstrate how grassroots organizations can build independent revenue and long-term financial sustainability while strengthening relationships with their supporters.

Alabama Forward’s Shake The Field experiment turned art, music, and merch into a revenue-generating engine for progressive power and democratic participation across Alabama. By meeting communities where they are – at festivals, through original music, and cultural storytelling – they not only diversified funding but opened doors for conversations about voting rights and civic life that traditional outreach often misses.
