𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞: Your copy isn’t converting because your audience has NO IDEA what you’re even talking about. 🍵
And it’s not because your offer sucks.
Not because your price is “too high.”
Not because social media platforms hate you.
👉 It’s because you’re speaking to the wrong awareness stage—𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.
Okay... let me break it down with a simple example.
Let’s say you’re a mindset coach…
But your audience doesn’t realize just yet that their overthinking is the root of their stuck-ness (𝘢.𝘬.𝘢. 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺'𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦).
So, if you start saying things like:
“𝘙𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘧𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵-𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧.”
…that’s actually messaging for someone who already knows the solution.
🚫 Wrong stage.
🚫 Wrong message.
🚫 Zero results.
Another example:
You’re a business strategist for service providers, and your people know they’re overwhelmed but don’t realize there are systems out there to help.
If you lead with:
“𝘎𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘺 𝘈𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘳.”
… they’ll scroll right past because they’re still problem-aware.
What they need to hear is:
“𝘚𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘫𝘶𝘨𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘋𝘔𝘴, 𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵-𝘪𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵?”
Talk about the problems.
They'll be curious how you can solve them.
OR SKIP THIS LITTLE DETAIL, and your words won’t land.
And if your words don’t land, you’ll lose time, energy, and sales. 😩

When you’ve already led your audience to your sales page, you only get ONE CHANCE to sell.
👉 Too sales-y copy, visitors will surely click the X button.
👉 Too-generic copy, they might not even read the whole thing.
With today’s connection gap (thanks, AI), it’s HARDER than ever to get people to trust, engage, and buy.
So we want a copy that’s just RIGHT — something that feels personal and credible at the same time. 💁♀️
👌 So, aside from the benefits your audience is already used to hearing…
👌 Or the excitement of oh-yes-you’ll-get-new-opportunities-if-you-join kind of messaging…
👌 Or the FOMO-driven urgency and limited-time offers…
What other not-so-obvious copy strategies can we add to your sales page?
Here are a few we used to help one client sell out their event:
✅ Appeal to MULTIPLE motivators.
Gone are the days when we ONLY focus on our audience’s emotional motivators. We need practical motivators, too. (A fulfilling career isn’t enough. They want something that will pay them money NOW and give them the recognition they deserve.)
✅ Handle objections early on.
Don’t wait for people to ask or find the FAQs section (or worse, skip adding it because you think it’s unimportant).
If you address objections early, clearly, and directly… you earn their trust and make them stay.
✅ Emphasize exclusivity and uniqueness.
Don’t just tell them you have an exclusive group or this is a uniquely crafted program. Show them why it’s exclusive. Prove to them how unique this program really is.
Let me say it again…
When you’ve already led your audience to your sales page, you only get ONE CHANCE to sell.
Will you do it right in that moment? 🫣
P.S. Remember also that a successful sales page doesn't stand alone. It works hand-in-hand with great design, smart ads, and every touchpoint that leads visitors here.

𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝. 💯
It has become one of the fastest-growing professions worldwide — growing by about 3.7% annually.
And while there are more opportunities for you to grow fast and easy…
There are also challenges to navigate. Clients are getting smarter, and the competition is no joke.
That means it will be hard for you to stay relevant if you…
❌ Stick to old-school methods,
❌ Avoid innovation,
❌ And don't care about making a real impact.
So, instead of becoming that coach who tries to manipulate, deceive, and exploit for $$$$, be the coach who stands for something DEEPER. Someone who offers an inspirational vision of WHAT is possible.
This is why the words you put out there matter.
When your words are intentional and based on your passion to bring about positive and transformative changes…
You won’t struggle in this evolving industry. 👌

If you're a coach and you see copywriters focusing on crystal-clear copy, that's probably because of this fact: ⏬
"When it comes to great copy, clarity and simplicity come before creativity and complexity. "✨
This is why copywriters appreciate readers who say their copy is clear and interesting more than readers who say their copy is creative. And that's because creativity doesn't sell. And no matter how good your copy may sound, if it doesn't EXACTLY convey the transformation your audience will get from your service, it won't work.
You might ask, "But Julls, not using creative copy will just bore my readers to death." 🥲
Welllllll, that's where your hands come in. 🤲
When it comes to hiring, opt for a copywriter who can infuse creativity into your copy while ensuring it remains simple, clear, and interesting.
Doing this will increase your audience's desire to read more and learn more about you and the positive transformation YOU can offer.
