The first image was taken on my on I saved for this film camera when I first started getting into photography. It wasn’t a plan to do photography, it only felt like joy, and I trusted that feeling. The joy felt like getting directions to a destination (especially when you’ve been lost). I’m constantly saying that I’m open to the opportunities that God has for me, and he hasn’t let me down yet. It’s easier to let go of things when I say to myself, “This doesn’t bring me joy.” Because joy for me equals God’s way of letting me know that it was meant for me, and the joy is the gift that he gives me.
