ROOFTOP DECK WITH A VIEW!
The Elm tree presiding on the property casts shade over the screened in porch providing a natural canopy. So in love with this tree, the client dreamed of a rooftop deck capturing this majestic view. Relaxing in nature under its reach, on an understated “Eagles Nest” perch. After implementing some creative run-off management solutions, what was once unused space is now a shady nook where time slips away. Primary Build
A few years ago my brother and I were commissioned through a private trust to construct a one of a kind structure. It was to house a circa 1930’s miniature replica of the Barnum and Bailey’s Circus. The museum was destined for a private ranch on California land spanning 400,000 acres. We couldn’t pack up and build it there so I rented a warehouse here in Wallingford. We built it, disassembled it, and shipped it across this majestic country of ours. My brother documented the two years of construction and the journey across country. Joel created this short documentary and performed the piano soundtrack to commemorate this once in a lifetime endeavor. He is a pianist and teacher here in Wallingford. Hope you enjoy!
