“You’re too dark-skinned.” “Your nose and lips are too big.” “You’re too muscular.” “You aren’t available enough to do that.” “Your name isn’t big enough to make others famous by association.” “You’re not pretty or smart enough for that.” Yeap, I have had even more than these things said to and of me during my life. For a long time, these things marked how I handle my life. Then one day, my life took on a full spectrum of colors that enabled me to come out of the darkness that had enveloped me. I began to dream of possibilities and opportunities for gospel artists. Those dreams eventually turned to visions. Then, those visions turned to realities. A few years ago, I was blessed to form Right Touch Promotions…gospel music management assistance, public relations representative, event planning, consultation and education, independent record label, and radio personality.
So, my purpose in life is to contribute to the growth of others in the gospel community; to be a representation of the limit-less possibilities of stepping outside the box; to be a part of the bridge between the gospel and the community overall. Everything I learn, or experience is to help someone else do better. Every opportunity I get is to usher someone else into their NEXT.
