🚂 NOW POURING: Railstadt 1882 🚂

Our newest release, Railstadt 1882, is a Schwarzbier, brewed in connection to the city of Killeen and our newest Southern Roots Brewing location.

Named for the year Killeen was founded during the expansion of the Gulf, Colorado, and Santa Fe Railway through Central Texas, this beer is a little nod to the history that helped shape the community.

Expect smooth malt character with notes of toasted bread, subtle caramel, and a crisp, clean finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

What a weekend…

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and supported this year’s Waco Block Party! From the incredible local vendors and amazing food to the nonstop energy from every band that hit the stage, this event was something special.

We were especially honored to spotlight the amazing work being done by Warriors Canvas and help bring awareness to such an incredible cause supporting our veteran community through the arts.

And of course — congratulations to this year’s Battle of the Bands winners, thebottomlessband! 🎶🏆
The competition was unbelievably close, and every performer brought so much talent, passion, and energy to the stage. Seriously… y’all made it HARD on the judges.

Thank you again to our community, staff, volunteers, bands, vendors, and everyone who helped make Year 3 of Waco Block Party one to remember. We’re already excited to do it all again next year. 🍻
