FTS is proud of Tree Steward Val Morgan's countless hours of labor removing invasives in the City of Vienna. But here is Val's other outstanding contribution to the City.

Fairfax Tree Steward Katy Johnson wins "Woman of Influence" award! Katy is a dedicated and effective advocate for the protection of the environment.

This decision of the City Council, in January 2026, to cancel the project was a major victory for the trees and the environment. Katy is well-deserving of this honor, and we are proud that she is a Fairfax Tree Steward!
