News: At just 19, Princess Leonor is already being prepared for a role Spain has not seen in more than a century. Born on October 31, 2005, she became heir to the throne at birth, but her upbringing has emphasized obligation over ceremony. In October 2023, on her 18th birthday, she swore allegiance to the Spanish Constitution, formally assuming her position as Princess of Asturias. One month earlier, she entered the General Military Academy in Zaragoza, beginning a three year program that rotates through the army, navy, and air force. The structure mirrors the preparation once required of kings, reinforcing her future role as head of state and commander in chief.

Spain has not had a reigning queen since Isabella II was forced into exile in 1868. If Leonor ascends the throne, she will become the country’s first queen in roughly 150 years. Her education reflects a monarchy adjusting to modern expectations while preserving continuity, shaping her as a constitutional figure rooted in service and discipline rather than symbolism alone. History is not waiting for her to grow into the crown. It is already preparing her to wear it.

Come study & practice Qigong together and experience the Power of group practice.

We'll cover the basics, and do an overview of the foundational building blocks of Qigong Theory/Philosophy, from various supporting texts, like:

-225-Hour Qigong Certification Text, from the Qigong and Daoist Training Center.
-Traditional Chinese Medicine
-Various other texts and essays on Daoist Philosophy and Psychology

We'll be following our studies up by learning a variety of techniques, including: quick and easy warm-up and cool-down routines, techniques to "wake up or relax" the Qi in the body for easy morning and evening Qigong routines, intro to Qigong moving and static meditations, self-massage and tapping, targeted sequences like 5-Element practice, and many others.

Learn the well observed and researched benefits of Qigong in terms of long-term preventive care, how to boost and revitalize your immunity reserves, as well as how to support and assist your Healing process for already existing conditions by cultivating your Life Force/Vitality, or Qi, with a practice that is accessible for almost anyone at any age.

Drop-ins and all skill levels are welcome. It is always a gift to share, study and practice Qigong with others.

No previous experience is necessary, come with a willingness to

learn and an open heart, comfortable clothing and shoes :~)
