I was fortunate enough to spend a little bit of time with the Open Beta for the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

The first thing I noticed is that it plays very smoothly. Graphically, it reminds me a lot of street fighter, just not as overly cartoony, which I like. The defensive options are pretty interesting, to be vague, and the offensive options are simple to comprehend even what’s considered to me to be the equivalent of classic controls. SNK did pretty good with this one.
