Sometimes the journey in this life leads us down unexpected paths.Today is one of those days. KASA Ministries bought a church. Yes, bought a church. We are blessed beyond measure and excited to parter with God's vision to be a place of salvation, healing and hope for the community and surrounding areas. We are going to be updating our progress and future events whenever possible. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Especially our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to whom through all things are possible.

Everyone is wondering how we arrived at the name KASA ministries. We'll simply it is our names in an acronym. When we came up with the idea I dug a little further knowing that people might think it is Spanish "Casa" meaning "house". Remarkably that is so fitting, but as I researched further the Hebrew word KASA means "to cover, conceal, hide or clothe.
Again remarkable. I just happen to stumble on the Japanese meaning for KASA and it means "umbrella". All of these meanings in so many languages are relevant to what we have envisioned for KASA Ministries. 1 Peter 4:8 is our guiding scripture it says, "And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Suzanne and I want to say Thank You preemptively for all of the prayers and support we have received from friends, family, and brothers and sisters and the prayers and support we will need in the future so that we can minister to the lost, broken and desperate of humanity so they can know that they are "Covered in Love" by Jesus.

Tackle addiction and substance abuse with prevention, treatment, recovery support, and awareness—all under one big umbrella.
