October Healing Kit 🌱
[4 days late but still showing up!]
It's important for me to be transparent that healing is not a straight line. I'm not always able to find peace through meditation and journaling. Recently I haven't even been able to do my healing practices and my days often feel too full.
I don't want you to worry, I just want to be honest. I didn't even have any nature photos for my Healing Kit - this one is from Oct last year. (Though a big part of me wanted to post my daughter's Homecoming pics - they are so beautiful, but they are not mine to share.)
I have been prioritizing my book so writing has been what I'm carving out any available time for. It's impossible to make everything a priority at the same time. I know I will get back to feeling more balanced in my days. Hope you read this and feel a sense of comradery and extend some compassion towards yourself. 🤗

September Back to School Healing Kit 🌱🚌
Writing prompt (Note): Make a list of 10 easy, free, and quick things that you can do to improve your mood. (hints: downward dog, light a candle, 3 deep breaths)
Nature: It's Tami Taylor season for me! (Friday Night Lights reference 😁) My husband is a youth football coach and my son plays (plus, my daughter Carly is playing field hockey at her high school) so my nature is turf and fresh air at the moment and I am trying to soak it all in!
Nourish: My anxiety increases with back to school for the kids + back in the classroom for me. True crime podcasts help - this seems strange, but it works for me! Have a favorite? Please share.
Ps when did insta change size? Always feeling behind when it comes to the socials…
