New school spirit shirt refashions are shipping today! It's fun making these with all the colorful knits!

New school year; new school shirt, or should I say dress? The shirts are always too big and my girl loves wearing dresses, so I've refashioned a School Spirit Dress out of her school shirt! All knit, all comfy. I finish all my seams with a fun lettuce edge. The shirts are cut to have a fitted look and can incorporate a different fabric back or the shirt fabric back. Here'a a few examples. I start with any school shirt your little one picked out and go from there! Available in Sizes 4-12. $30 plus shipping if necessary.

Are you anything like me? When I have A LOT to do, I find more projects in an effort to organize myself to prepare for the tasks at hand. This time I sorted and color coordinated my teensy tiny scraps used for applique. I have NEVER done that before! I seriously need help!

Here's a custom made Bluebird dress for a gorgeous little girl's milestone portraits with her baby brother. For those of you who sew, you know working with knits can be challenging.
