1. De Mármol Rosé: With Garnacha Tinta, Garnacha Blanca, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, De Mármol Rosé is the most naturally summer-friendly option in the Bodegas Tierra lineup. It’s perfect chilled, patio-ready, and easy to pair with lighter dishes.

2. La Abuela Visi: Made from Moscatel, Viura, and Malvasía, La Abuela Visi comes from an old vineyard planted in 1920. This elegant and refined wine has an Atlantic freshness with notes of lime, wet stone, lees, and a complex salty finish.

3. Tierra Fidel Blanco: Tierra Fidel Blanco is a field blend of white varieties from the Rebilla vineyard, planted on a north-facing limestone slope in 1920. It brings grapefruit, quince, chalky minerality, and a long stony finish. This wine is great for seafood, grilled chicken, and summer dinners.

This week’s SAWM Spotlight is Bodegas Tierra, a family estate from Labastida in Rioja Alavesa.

Rooted in one of Rioja’s most historic villages, Bodegas Tierra works with estate vineyards facing the slopes of the Toloño mountain, including mature and old-vine plantings that bring depth, structure, and character to the wines.

This week’s SAWM Spotlight is Madai, a tiny family-led producer from Bierzo, Spain. Brothers Gonzalo and Daniel Amigo care for the original Mencía and Godello plots, with vines over 100 years old.

Only a few thousand cases are made each year which makes Madai personal, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in place.
