Nancy Forlini

A Woman Who Earned the Room — and the Respect 30 Years and $30M Commands
Some conversations only become possible after time has done its work.

Nancy has been part of From the Broker’s Desk from the very beginning. She was one of our first guests, long before the platform found its full voice. She didn’t just participate — she supported, encouraged, and showed up consistently. She spoke at Summit 6288, attended at the highest level, and extended that same generosity to many colleagues across the industry. Not for visibility. For belief.

This is Nancy’s third appearance on FTBD, and it matters to say this clearly: this is not an interview. It’s a conversation. When there’s history, trust, and mutual respect, the dynamic changes. I spoke more in this episode — deliberately. Not to take space, but to meet the level of exchange that comes from sitting across from someone whose authority has been earned, not claimed. Like playing tennis with a pro, you don’t step back — you elevate your game.

Nancy has reached the RE/MAX Paramount of Excellence — a distinction requiring 30 years with RE/MAX and $30 million in cumulative commissions. As of today, she is the only woman in Canada to have achieved this. That fact doesn’t need embellishment. It stands on its own.

We spoke about working with your spouse, about holding respect in communication when it matters most, and about the discipline required to maintain standards over decades. We also touched on personal choices and their ripple effects — including a conversation that inspired me to step away from alcohol completely. One year and one week later, I can say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

My appreciation for Nancy — and for Nick, her partner in business and in life — is rooted in friendship, admiration, and deep respect. And perhaps the greatest respect of all is this: I continue to challenge her to put herself out there more, because her voice matters.
This episode airs tomorrow.
And it’s one I’m proud to share.
Some conversations don’t need momentum.
They need history.

Once again, many thanks for all who help us make FTBD come true.

Here is a **short, clean, Instagram-ready version in English**.
Copy-paste as is.

As 2025 comes to a close and 2026 opens, I want to pause and acknowledge.

ERA Mentoring was built this year not on slogans, but on exchanges—conversations that became opportunities to learn and grow, to give and to receive. True mentoring is always reciprocal.

The wisdom of ERA Mentoring is shaped by the sounds and silences of a thousand conversations, the ink of a thousand reflections, the years and tears of lived experience, and one simple truth: our role is always evolving—to learn and to live. That is all we can do.

Mentoring has made this journey richer, deeper, and more human. Whether our paths cross for a session, a conversation, or a lifetime, every encounter is a gift.

There is a time to grow.
A time to sow.
But above all, a time for presence—of mind and of moments.

Wishing you an incredible ERA in 2026.

The year is ending.
And before another cycle of easy resolutions begins, there is a more demanding question worth asking:

Did you simply stay active…
or did you actually grow?

Most people confuse movement with progress. They stay busy, stimulated, occupied—yet remain fundamentally unchanged.

I’ve spent more than two decades building, leading, negotiating, mentoring, and making decisions where outcome mattered. Not in theory—in consequence. What I’ve learned is this: growth isn’t motivational. It’s structural. It requires clarity, discipline, and accountability at a level most people rarely invite.

This is the season to refine.
To redefine.
To re-find yourself—not as an idea, but as a practiced identity.

In the coming weeks, I will take on **only three individuals** for mentorship. Not programs. Not groups. **Three people.**
This is a high-trust, deeply invested relationship. I bring strategy, experience, candor, and full engagement. In return, I work with individuals who think clearly, execute consistently, and elevate the environment around them.

Growth is not about being fixed.
It’s about being sharpened.

Opportunity is everywhere.
Standards are rare.

If you feel the unmistakable pull of knowing you’re capable of more—and are ready to be held to that standard—this may be your moment.

Some doors are offered.
Others are *earned*.

FROM THE BROKER’S DESK – A one-of-a-kind show in Quebec ✨
We had the great honour of welcoming Marc Fisher, who presented his brand-new book “Comment les mêmes fabriquent des génies.” Together, we explored not only key elements of his work but also the defining moments of his life and career.
This was followed by a truly insightful discussion with Alison Brimmacomb, a clinical therapist joining us from Victoria, B.C., where we addressed mental health and the crucial role of open communication.
I also had the privilege of highlighting two pillars of Team Sperano, Mike and Louise, and expressing my heartfelt gratitude for their loyalty and dedicated service.
We then wrapped things up with Phil Lemay of Lemay Consulting, who shared his expertise on the future of entrepreneurship: from lead generation to AI integration, from intelligent CRMs to the tailored solutions his firm provides to entrepreneurs.
A special thank you to SUNAFILM Media, MINDBLOW, Centre Automobile du Québec, and Lemay Consulting – without whom this show would not be possible.
And of course, what an honour to film directly from the prestigious Grand Hotel Mount Stephen, one of Montreal’s most elegant venues.
🎙️ Our very first episode will air on October 29th, featuring special guest Sara-Christine Troini.
We believe we are among the only fully bilingual podcasts of this kind in Quebec, and we are proud to build a bridge between French and English communities.
