Our new drummer is… Steve Rorebeck!!

Iowa Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee (twice) and member of The Flying Marsupials (just like the rest of us monkeys), Stevie returned to the stage at the West Des Moines Elks Club to complete the circle, and make Monkeyfour whole.

We couldn’t be more excited to be back onstage with our old buddy and bandmate, and we are fortunate to have one of Iowa’s top drummers banging the bongos. We had a great time at our first official gig together, and can’t wait for the next!

Hint: Nov. 14 at Doc's Lounge ~ Johnston, IA!

At the end of the summer, Monkeyfour found themselves on the hunt for a new drummer. Well, the vacancy was short lived, and our new bongo-monkey is busily readying himself to take the stage.

So who is it? Here are a few hints:

• He’s a bit of a local legend
• He’s an Iowa Rock N Roll Hall of Famer (just like the rest of us Monkeys)
• We did NOT have to interview Seve-ral drummers to pick him
• Him joining Monkeyfour is a “full-circle” moment for all of us!
