Routine landscaping recently required us to cut back a tree near the historic Tingey House, which revealed a severely weathered and discolored section of the perimeter wall.

To protect and maintain our historic infrastructure, NSA Washington’s Public Works Department and Navy Seabees collaborated to thoroughly pressure wash and repaint the masonry. Thank you to our dedicated personnel for their commitment to our installation's upkeep!

Get ready to look to the skies because the Pax River Air Show is back on June 20-21, 2026, at NAS Patuxent River! Witness the incredible US Navy Blue Angels, the thrilling F-16 Viper Demo Team, and historic warbirds like the B-25 "Panchito" in action.

The event will also feature massive static aircraft displays, food, and a Kid's Zone for the whole family to enjoy. Admission is completely FREE and open to the public!
