UPDATE: THIS DOG WAS PRIVATELY ADOPTED. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷10+ year old male schnauzer, 30lbs. Committed foster NEEDED. All Vet care is covered by the rescue. Nice dog. Well behaved and mellow. We would love to save this distinguished gentleman but we cannot do so without a foster home in our area and some funds. He is at very high risk for euthanasia and there is not much time for him...days if that. He has some skin issues and is clearly not a german Shepherd. Shelter staff did not even bother to notice that. He was surrendered by his owner because the owner said they could no longer afford his care. This boy is terribly sad and despondent. The owner said he has been around all sizes of dogs, children, cats, does not pull on his leash and has never shown aggression. However, those claims need to be fully evaluated. A committed foster home would save his life.
