📸 That’s a wrap on committee weeks! Last week, House and Senate Democrats unveiled our affordability agenda and met with the Consul General of Canada. I was also honored and pleasantly surprised to receive the Legislative Excellence Award from the Florida Association of Counties for my advocacy during the 2025 legislative session. Now I’m back in the district with another busy week ahead before the holidays!

I am proud to continue to uphold and protect our unions and workers here in Florida, and celebrate the dedicated leaders of labor organizing today.

The proposal to redraw Florida’s congressional maps is disgraceful. It’s nothing more than an attempt by Republicans to tilt next year’s vote and shield the Trump administration from accountability.
