On the boards - Sagebrush Residence
Rooted in the landscape of the Tetons, this residence is quite and meaningful. Two overlapping volumes and rooflines rotate on axis toward the Grand, framing moments of light, sky, and landscape throughout the home.
Designed to feel quietly embedded within its surroundings, the house opens toward panoramic views while native sagebrush, wildflowers, and natural stone allow the architecture to recede into the vast Wyoming landscapes.

Stephen Dynia led final reviews for Graduate Studio VI: Urban / Nature Dialogue at the University of Colorado Denver CAP — a research museum studio exploring the intersection of public space, research, housing, and the urban landscape.
Joined by Bob White as part of the final jury, the review highlighted a semester of thoughtful design exploration, conceptual clarity, and architecture’s evolving relationship between city and nature.
