Despite tremendous investments over many decades, 99% of drug candidates for Alzheimer's disease fail to show any benefit in clinical trials.
Now, researchers at WashU Medicine plan to use a grant from the National Science Foundation and Microsoft to build an "AI Scientist" system to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Alzheimer’s disease research.
