A Christian Puppy

A Baptist couple decide that they want to get a dog. As they are walking down the street in town, they notice that a sign in the pet shop is advertising "Christian Puppies." Their interest piqued, they go inside.

"How do you know they're Christian puppies?"

"Watch," says the owner, as he takes one of the dogs and says, "Fetch the Bible." The dog runs over to the desk, and grabs the Bible in its mouth and returns. Putting the Bible on the floor, the owner says, "Find Psalm 23." The dog flips pages with its paw until he reaches the right page, and then stops. Amazed and delighted, the couple purchase the dog and head home.

That evening, they invite some friends over and show them the dog, having him run through his Psalm 23 routine. Impressed, one of the visitors asks "Does he also know
'regular' commands?"

"Gee, we don't know. We didn't ask," replies the husband.
Turning to the dog, he says, "Sit." The dog sits. He says, "Lie down." The dog lies down. He says "Roll over." The dog rolls over.

He says "Heel." The dog runs over to him, jumps up on the sofa, puts both paws on the owner's forehead and bows his head.

"Oh look!" the wife exclaims. "He's PENTECOSTAL!"

Hey Facebook Friends! The MEGA Praise Team is getting back to a busy schedule! The last year has been full of challenges, but we are overcomers through Christ! Through sickness, injuries, and even the passing of one our members, God continues to bless us with His strength and encouragement!

We have been incredibly blessed with several new members over the passed few months! We have added Richard Roda on bass guitar, Robert Miller on lead guitar, Marti Miller on flute and vocals, and Ellen Mendez playing congas and percussion, and vocals. We're very excited to welcome them into the MEGA Ministries Family! Each one is extremely talented, and loves to worship with their music! With each addition, the music just gets better and better!

We just had an amazing service at the Naples Church of God on 10th St. this past Sunday. The service ended with many at the alter! Praise the Lord!!! It is such a sweet reward , and our heart's desire to lead others in praise and worship and see them at the alter pouring their hearts out to God!

For all our friends in the Naples, FL area, we will be at the Golden Gate Assembly of God church just off Collier Blvd/951 on Saturday evening Nov, 23rd, and Sunday morning Nov. 24th. Mark your calendar, clear your schedule, invite a friend and come join us for an evening of worship that may change your life. No Tickets needed! No cover charge! However, donations are always appreciated! If you can't make the Saturday evening concert, please join us for the Sunday morning service!

To all our friends and family that follow the MEGA Praise Team here on Facebook, especially those who know us personally, our dear friend Randy Marshall passed away peacefully at Tampa General Hospital on Wednesday, August 7th, 2013, due to an illness.

Randy has been a pillar to the praise team over the years as a Director, Stage and Sound Technician, and our Bass Guitarist.

A memorial service will be held at 4pm, Sunday, August 11, 2013, at the Naples Church of God, located at 1074 Tenth Street, Naples, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, Randy's family requests that all donations be made to Randy's ministry team of which he was such a vital part of. Send to:

While we are all deeply saddened by his passing, it is only the fact that he has left us and that we will truly miss him that hurts. On the other hand, we know that Randy is now in heaven, completely healed, and no longer in pain! We celebrate Randy's life, and that there was a day that he chose to live for God, and had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ from that day... to his last!

We have new, powerful music this year that will surely speak to your heart and glorify the King! This year marks the 30th Anniversary of this event, and the 6th consecutive year that the MEGA Praise Team has been invited to provide the featured music.
This year we are honored to share the stage with Jim Daly, President of Focus on the Family, as the guest speaker. "Focus" is a global Christian ministry dedicated to helping families thrive. Mr Daly is also host of their National Radio Hall of Fame-honored daily broadcast, heard by more than 2.9 million people each week.
