I’m a wife. A mother of three. A grandmother. I have a full-time career—one that demands a lot of me.

For the last 16 years, people have asked me how I keep showing up to teach fitness. And WHY???

The answer is simple.

I don’t believe people walk through those studio doors by accident.

Social media has convinced us that fitness is a popularity contest. That packed classes, viral videos, likes, and followers determine whether you’re a “good” instructor.

I don’t buy that anymore.

My definition of a great instructor has changed.

It isn’t about how many people know my name.
It isn’t about how fit I look—because let’s be honest, I’m a woman, and life (and hormones!) have a way of humbling all of us. Can I get an amen?

Fitness was never supposed to be a number on a scale, a clothing size, or how many push-ups you can crank out.

Real fitness starts on the inside.

Confidence.
Healing.
Community.
Believing you’re worth showing up for.

The results? We’ve got those covered.

But my real goal is different.

When you walk through those doors, I want you to feel seen.

I want you to know you’re safe here.

I want you to know you don’t have to earn your place.

I don’t have an ideal version of who you “should” become. My job is simply to meet you where you are and help you take the next step.

If my impact could only be measured by a highlight reel, I’d be missing the entire point.

The beautiful thing about this community is that we measure success differently.

We celebrate the woman who came even though she almost stayed home.
The one rebuilding after heartbreak.
The one starting over.
The one who simply needed an hour to breathe.

That’s the kind of transformation that doesn’t always trend.

But it changes lives.

The new flex isn’t chasing the crowd.

It’s becoming fully present for the people God placed right in front of you.

Because at the end of the day…

I’d rather change one life in the room than impress a thousand people scrolling past it.

Everything else is just noise.👑💕

🇺🇸✨ Happy Independence Day, Queens. 👑

Today we celebrate the birth of a nation—and this year, we also honor 250 years of the American story. Through triumph and trial, courage and sacrifice, generation after generation has helped shape the freedoms we enjoy today.

As women, leaders, mothers, daughters, dreamers, and difference-makers, we are part of that legacy.

Queens don’t just inherit history—we help write the next chapter.

May we continue to be women who stand for faith, lead with courage, choose kindness, lift others higher, and leave every room better than we found it.

Today, I’m especially grateful for the freedoms that allow us to worship openly, serve boldly, build meaningful lives, and raise the next generation with hope.

So celebrate. Laugh loudly. Hug your people. Thank those who have served. Pray for our nation. And never underestimate the impact one Queen can have on her family, her community, and the world around her.

Here’s to 250 years of resilience, freedom, and possibility.

And here’s to the Queens who are helping build the next 250.

Happy 4th of July. ❤️🤍💙
