Pool prep is officially underway! ☀️

Step 1 is done! Hubby worked hard digging up all the grass, and the rest of us helped clean up by moving the sod over to the chicken run.

Next up: finishing getting the grass out, leveling the ground, and adding a layer of sand for a nice comfy base under the pool.

I don’t think my husband realized just how much work goes into putting up an above-ground pool before he agreed to it. 🤣 Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just unfold it, fill it up, and jump right in?

The kids are counting down the days, and we’re hoping to have it ready by the 4th of July weekend! 🇺🇸☀️
