President Mama Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania had a leading role in the production of "The Royal Tour" documentary that will be shown on public television and will be in New York and Los Angeles the week of April 18 2022 promoting it together with a delegation of tourism leaders.

A top-level recognition of the importance of tourism to a nation's GNP is playing out this week in New York and Los Angeles as Tanzania's president, Mama Samia Suluhu Hassan, leads a delegation promoting "The Royal Tour," a documentary to be shown on PBS that features herself personally guiding Peter Greenberg, the well-known travel journalist, to experience both the well-known and lesser-known beauty of Tanzania.
