A Swath of Bank Customer Data Was Hacked. The F.B.I. Is Investigating. (Gift Article) 11/26/2025

Major banks including JPMorgan Chase, Citi and Morgan Stanley may have had customer and client data exposed after a hack of vendor SitusAMC.

SitusAMC says the breach affected accounting documents, legal contracts, and possibly mortgage application info.

Although the incident has been contained and banking services haven’t been disrupted, investigators are still determining the full extent of the data exposure.
