Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to learn from one of our partner physicians, Dr. Patrick Rohal, MD, who shared research on the effectiveness of auricular acupuncture (ear acupuncture) as a complementary therapy for individuals living with PTSD and Complex PTSD (CPTSD).👂

Today, we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and reflect on the sacrifices made to secure them.

At North Star Initiative, we are reminded that while freedom is something many of us experience daily, countless individuals are still trapped in exploitation, abuse, and trafficking. That's why our mission remains so important.

We believe every person is created in the image of God and deserves to live in freedom, dignity, and hope.

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day, let us also remember those still waiting for their own journey to freedom and commit ourselves to building communities where the vulnerable are protected, loved, equipped, connected, and healed.
