🌿 Keeping myself lean throughout the year is all about discipline and consistency. Here’s a glimpse into my routine:
🏋️♂️ Fitness: I prioritize regular workouts to stay active and burn calories. Whether it’s hitting the gym, going for a run, or trying out new workout classes, I make sure to keep my body moving.
🥦 Healthy Eating: Nourishing my body with nutritious foods is key. I focus on a balanced diet, incorporating plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. I practice portion control and avoid excessive indulgences.
💧 Hydration: Staying hydrated is essential for maintaining a lean physique. I make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day, which helps keep me energized and aids in digestion.
📆 Consistency: Building discipline and sticking to my routine is crucial. I make a schedule and set achievable goals to stay on track. It’s all about making small, sustainable changes that add up over time.
🛌 Quality Sleep: A good night’s sleep plays a significant role in overall health. I prioritize getting enough rest to allow my body to recover and recharge.
🧘♀️ Mindfulness: Taking care of my mental well-being is equally important. I practice mindfulness techniques like meditation or yoga to reduce stress and keep a positive mindset.

🏆We all need particular nutrients to keep our bodies functioning. And our common, foundational nutrition requirements are made up of three key building blocks: macronutrients, micronutrients, and phytonutrients. But how are they different from each other? And what do they do for our bodies?
🥜Macronutrients
Think of “macronutrients” as “basic nutrition.” This category is composed of protein, fat, and carbohydrates.
Protein
What it does – Required for the growth, maintenance, and repair of tissues. It helps your body stay energized, and build and maintain lean muscle even as you age.

Much of the protein we consume is combined with saturated fat.
Fat
What it does – Omega-3 fatty acids promote heart health, and support brain, vision, and joint health.

🍃Micronutrients
Micronutrients are essential vitamins and minerals that work together with macronutrients to perform hundreds of roles in your body that are necessary to sustain life.

Our bodies can’t produce enough micronutrients on their own, and the typical diet doesn’t satisfy the demand.

🥬Phytonutrients
Phytonutrients are natural compounds found in plants that are thought to promote human health. They contain antioxidants that help protect your body from free radicals, and we get them by eating fruits and vegetables. Each vibrant plant color is related to a range of benefits – that’s why it’s important to eat a wide variety.
