Harmony In Blooms
I have been busy (but happily) documenting this year’s heirloom mums for more than a month now; two more weeks for the late bloomers to flower then I am officially off for the holidays!! You might know that I lost almost my entire mum collection two years ago due to a week long of hard frost that winter. Slowly but surely, I have most of my then collection back and more and with lessons learned and experiences gained, I’m increasing the production and hopefully beginning next year I will be able to offer more cut mums for our local friends as part of your holiday celebration!
I will again have rooted cuttings for sale early next year if you are interested in growing these gorgeous fall flowers; each order comes with a growing instruction.
And if you miss the announcement, my dahlia tuber sale begins this Saturday December 6th at 9am PST, I will have over 100 varieties for this sale! I can’t wait to share these beauties with you!

Lastly, I am ever grateful for you being here and allowing me to share my flower journey with you! Wishing you a safe, warm and happy holiday season!!🎄☃️

Dahlia “Bracken Rose”(US), my all time favorite!
It is one of my first dahlias I grew back in 2020 and this year I dedicated almost 1/10 of my precious small growing space to this variety, this is how much I adore her!
Such a beautiful variety, vigorous, dark green leaves, good tuber maker….and affordable. Still one of my favorites this day!
Have you had this one in your farm/garden yet? What is your “must-have” dahlia(s)?

Whew…I have wanted to post this for sometime now, and I finally did!
That’s no secret I love ball and pompon dahlias! They are not only adorable, they also have better vase life, which is a great bonus in bouquets and arrangements.
As we are moving towards the end of dahlia season, and soon I will be on the task to cut down and then dig up the tubers for our upcoming winter sale, hope this bits of information helpful to some. And let’s enjoy the flowers before the frost comes!
Dahlias very often have color variations even from the same plant. Double labeling and taking notes right after pictures were taken help a great deal for me to take the confusion out and this way, I make sure I have correct varieties for sale.
