This Baluch Timuri Prayer Rug is from the area of Herat in todays Northwestern Afghanistan, Khorasan region, part of the Persian Qajar Dynasty at the time the rug was woven.

Funky drawing to say the least embodying the true spirit of Nomadic Baluch and Timuri weaving.

19th century – circa 1870-80.
