🚨 Operation Slow Down | July 14–19, 2025 🚨

The Lake Mary Police Department is joining the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and our southeastern partners—Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee—for this annual speed enforcement and public education campaign.

💥 The goal: reduce speed-related fatalities and serious injury crashes by targeting speeding and aggressive driving.

👮‍♂️ Expect increased enforcement throughout Lake Mary, especially in high-traffic areas and roadways known for violations.

📣 We’re also raising awareness to encourage safer driving habits.

Speeding isn’t just a ticket—it’s a threat to everyone on the road. Slow down. Drive smart. Get home safe.
