Many of you guessed correctly! It looks like Dr. Henson's love for animals started at a very young age—and judging by this photo, cuddling kittens was always in the job description. 🐱💙

🌞 Summer is here, and rising temperatures can be dangerous for our furry family members.

A few simple precautions can make all the difference:
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times.
🚶 Walk during the cooler morning or evening hours.
🌳 Provide plenty of shade when outdoors.
🐾 Check pavement before heading out—it may be much hotter than the air temperature!
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked car, even for "just a minute."
⚠️ Know the signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse.

If you think your pet may be overheating, move them to a cool area, offer cool (not ice-cold) water, and contact your veterinarian right away.
