It might have taken us months to find a day that aligned with all of our schedules and it might have been absolutely freezing, BUT I have to admit I love a good snow session. Even better when it's one of my best friends and her beautiful girls!

To anyone who has ever lost a very close family member, I encourage you to still get the family photos taken! Next week it will mark 13 years since Jess and Scott lost their oldest child, unexpectedly, at just 8 months old. It feels just like yesterday, but also like a lifetime ago. Anyone who knows them knows how much they still make Gemma a huge part of their lives. Their younger two sweet kiddos never got to meet their big sister, but they know SO MUCH about her. Every single time this family gets their photos taken they always include Gemma and it's something I seriously love so dang much. Their kids will thank them tremendously when they're older and always cherish their photos knowing their big sister was still included in all of them!
