Who’s having a nice Saturday?

The 15 year old and I watched Young Frankenstein today. Man, it made me miss her father a lot. He and I loved that movie, and I really wish she could watch it with him. They shared a deep love of cinema. I’ve also been missing my mama like crazy today. Grief is a funny thing and sometimes shows up unexpected and punches you right in the face.

Good morning! ☀️

The little one and I are going to our library’s story time this morning. 📚 We haven’t been in a while (having covid for so long and all) but she loves it there.

We need to find more opportunities for her to get out of the house and around other kids. As soon as she is all the way potty trained, we will be able to get her in gymnastics. 🤸‍♀️ She’s feral and needs to be tamed. 😅 Just a little though. I like her wildness and strength.
