Plumbing – Shower/Tub Valve Interaction and Pipe Vibration
The walk-in shower is equipped with two shower heads. When the bathtub fixture was operated, one shower head shut off and pipe vibration was observed. Once the bathtub was turned off, the shower head resumed normal operation.
This condition suggests an issue with valve operation, diverter function, pressure balancing, or internal plumbing configuration. Pipe vibration may indicate turbulence, restriction, or improper flow control within the system.
Recommendation:
Have the shower/tub valve and associated plumbing evaluated by a qualified plumber. Repairs or adjustments may be needed to correct improper operation and eliminate vibration.
