I know it so well. I’m still in the middle of it. Parenting young kids can make the days crawl and fly at the same time. Constantly wanting to get “to the next stage” so that you get a break from the daily trial you are going through, only to look back with regret that you didn’t cherish that stage instead of trying to zoom past it. I try to not get bogged down with “I should’ve” and move on with “I will improve” with the next phase. I believe God uses each season of life to bring us closer to Him, and I can definitely look at my mothering journey so far and see growth in patience, all glory to Him.
