To anyone who came out to the concert last night at Guthrie Green - we hope you were able to get dry quickly! This is what Aaron gets for writing a song about an Oklahoma storm! 🤣😜⛈️. The concert has been rescheduled - more info to come!
We wanted to record a nice video to post for St. Patrick’s Day yesterday. This was basically as close as we got.
“The Auld Triangle” was written by Dick Shannon in the mid-20th century. The song is written from the perspective of an inmate in Mountjoy Prison in Dublin. Brendan Behan was the first to perform the song, and he learned it in Mountjoy Prison after spending 8 years there “for shooting some detective sargeant or other, but praise be to God he was no countryman of ours.” 😬🇮🇪
Here’s a bit of our a ca****la rendition of “Paddy’s Lament” from last week’s concert. It’s a ballad that Sinead O’Connor once called “the best anti-war song ever made.”
