Do you ever feel like there just isn’t enough time in the day to pray?
Friend, prayer doesn’t only happen in a quiet room with the perfect schedule. Prayer is simply communion with God, and because the Holy Spirit lives inside you, you can talk to Him anywhere, anytime.
You can pray while folding laundry, driving your car, washing dishes, riding the metro, or caring for your children. The moment you lift your heart and say, “Lord,” He hears you. What a comfort to know we are never alone and never too busy to connect with Him.
Yes, having a special time set apart with the Lord is wonderful, but don’t believe the lie that busy moments keep you from His presence. You are one spirit with Him, and He is always near.
No matter where you are today, just call out to Him. He’s listening.

When we listen, we have to put aside what we think. This is so necessary, because if we hold on to our plans and our opinions that didn’t work, how are we going to hear the best plan from God? We have to listen on purpose and hear the instruction from the Spirit of God.

When David returned to his home in Ziklag and saw it destroyed and all his possessions and family taken away, he was just devastated. I really believe that this was one of the darkest moments in his life.
But friend, what's beautiful about his response is that even though he didn’t know how things would turn out, he asked God, “Should I chase the enemy that took everything from us? Will I be able to get everything back if I try?”
Friend, it takes faith to ask God hard questions like that, but when we do, we open our hearts to receive His answers and direction. When David asked, God gave a clear answer, and David and all his men were able to recover everything that had been lost! The Bible says that nothing was lacking!

I am so convicted in my heart that we need to absolutely spend as much time as we can in the presence of the Lord. We need to seek His presence, fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and spend time in God’s Word because we need a faith in our hearts these days that is a rock — we need unshakeable faith.
