Time flies when you’re staying in a cave. 🏡✨ It was finally time to check out of our cozy hobbit cave in Eureka Springs, and honestly, I wasn’t ready to leave. Tucked away in the Ozarks, it was peaceful, quiet, secluded, and the perfect place to unplug from the chaos of everyday life.

Before heading home, we made a few final stops to soak up every last bit of this charming town. First up was breakfast at The Filling Station, followed by a sweet treat from a local bakery and a stroll through downtown. We walked past the iconic Crescent Hotel, often called “America’s Most Haunted Hotel.” Built in 1886 as a luxury resort, the Crescent has welcomed guests for well over a century and is one of Eureka Springs’ most famous landmarks. Whether you’re into history, architecture, or ghost stories, it’s definitely worth seeing while you’re in town.

Our last adventure was exploring Onyx Cave, one of Arkansas’ oldest show caves. The winding pathways, unique rock formations, and cool underground temperatures made it the perfect final stop before making the drive home.

Eureka Springs continues to surprise me every time we visit. Between the natural beauty, unique lodging, incredible food, rich history, and small-town charm, it’s a destination that keeps calling us back.

Have you ever been to Eureka Springs? If so, what’s your favorite thing to do there? Save this post for your next Arkansas getaway and send it to someone who needs a peaceful weekend escape. 🤍

Some of my favorite moments in Eureka Springs weren’t planned at all. ✨

They happened while wandering the winding streets of downtown, listening to live music drift through the air, hearing laughter echo from restaurant patios, watching people explore the shops, and simply slowing down long enough to appreciate the beauty around me.

There’s something special about this little Ozark town. The historic buildings, colorful storefronts, hidden staircases, street performers, and the energy of people making memories create an atmosphere that’s hard to put into words. Every corner feels like a new discovery.

Sometimes the best part of traveling isn’t checking attractions off a list. It’s soaking in the sounds, sights, and feeling of a place and being fully present while life happens all around you.

Just got done exploring Eureka Springs and having dinner at Grotto, aka the cave 🪨✨

Since we were staying in a cave, it only felt right to eat in one too. After dinner, we stopped into a few little shops around town and found the cutest trinkets we couldn’t pass up, so obviously I had to do a mini haul unboxing with you… from inside the cave.

Eureka Springs is full of the most unique little stores, hidden gems, handmade finds, crystals, art, souvenirs, and random treasures you didn’t know you needed until they were staring at you from a shelf. It’s one of those towns where you go in “just to look” and somehow leave with a bag full of tiny magical things.

This is your sign to take the trip, wander the streets, support the local shops, book the quirky stay, eat dinner in the cave, and buy the little trinket that reminds you of the memory.

Stay tuned for the full cave stay tour and more of our Eureka Springs weekend finds 🌿

Comment EUREKA if you want the details, and save this for your next Arkansas weekend getaway.
