A few tips on what to look for when researching a permanent makeup artist

License : Don’t see it anywhere? Speak up!
The artist should be licensed and trained in the state the artist is practicing in.

Facility : A clean space is essential to ensure a safe and effective procedure for you and any client after you. Comfortability is important but so is sanitation ( blankets, pillows, carpets, etc are a absolute NO!) We are dealing with blood borne pathogens and all those items harbor bacteria you cannot possibly clean in between clients. A reputable artist will not have those things in the treatment rooms.

Before & After photos : Who doesn’t love a good transformation? Make sure to look for an artist who does not filter or blur their work. Not only is it false advertisement but it gives clients unrealistic expectations. Always look for raw un edited work.
