It’s NOT all success and smooth sailing over here in the Heliotrope casting studio. Even though I have over a decade of experience, mistakes still happen regularly, DAYS of work can be lost, because of machine issues, human error, or because I’m rushing and not paying enough attention. The last 4 or 5 casts in a row, we’ve had issues, a few flask blowouts of different types, molten metal temp inconstancies, etc . Luckily all the sterling silver was salvaged, for re-melting for the next cast. On this day, a very large amount of silver was ready to be poured, but the flask failed, so I chose to create these block ingots for future use 🧊🧊🧊🧊
