I can count on one hand the delightful social exchanges Dylan had when the other child was not put off by his atypical social responses. Although they were different the other child did not perceive them as lack of interest and persisted in finding ways to play. Once with a soccer ball, once playing chase on a playground, once playing with water, and once in a swimming pool. (Note child number three became a true friend and then there were many more delightful exchanges.)
